Why does a baby throw up milk

Milk spilling is a very common phenomenon in infants. Milk spills are mainly due to the shallow stomach of the baby, and the lower third of the esophagus circular sphincter has not yet fully developed. Therefore, after feeding, the stomach swells and produces pressure, and the contraction strength of the sphincter is not strong enough to prevent the reflux of food in the stomach, so babies often spit up and overflow milk. This situation is more common in newborns.
